This page exists so the demonstration site has a complete public structure. It is an illustrative placeholder, written for a design and engineering portfolio project — it is not legal advice and it does not describe the practices of any real restaurant, business, or organisation.

Lumière Dining Group is a fictional brand. The rooms, menus, and reservations on this site are invented for demonstration, and no real guest information is processed by it.

The only details this demo handles are those typed into its own reservation form — name, email address, telephone number, party size, date, and time. They are used only in the browser to render a demonstration confirmation page; nothing is stored, saved, or sent anywhere.

No payment details are collected at any point, and nothing is sold, shared, or transferred to third parties. The demo is not connected to any real reservation, marketing, or analytics service.

The demo sets no cookies at all. Details typed into the reservation form are used in the browser to render the demonstration confirmation and are discarded when the page is closed or reloaded.

Presentation preferences, such as the active colour theme, live in the browser for the length of the session and are not transmitted anywhere.

Because this is a demonstration environment rather than a live service, nothing is retained: reservation details exist only in the browser session used to show the confirmation and are gone when the page is closed. There is no real retention schedule, request process, or data-protection contact behind this page.

A real restaurant would publish a policy covering its lawful basis for processing, retention periods, third-party processors, and the rights available to guests. Those details are deliberately omitted here so that this fictional demo is not read as a genuine privacy commitment.
